Ultra Promo delivers a range of live events, from single sets in intimate venues; community events; and to large variety shows. Since 2012 Ultra Promo has managed Black History Month events, promoted a two-day community arts, health and community information event; and organised a successful variety event in the Eastern Curve Garden, Dalston featuring local poets, musicians and artists.

2015 saw the launch of our Afrikan High Achievers Award with Margaret Busby OBE its first recipient. A hugely successful award ceremony was held at the impressive Guildhall in London and set the bar for all Ultra Promo events.

Our latest success was the House of Amau Winter Showcase held in January 2016 at the Attic, Hackney Picturehouse. AMBA Afrikan Heritage Writers performed poetry and spoken word. Guests included the young rising star, singer Official Levz and lover’s rock harmony band the Blood Sisters; African Storyteller Griot Chinyere and the irrepressible and always edutaining Kaisonian Tobago Crusoe. It was an unforgettable night before a very appreciative audience – who left eager to know when the next show will be. We aim to please, so watch this space for details of upcoming events.
